The University of Chicago Gymnastics Club is a registered student organization dedicated to providing members of the university community the opportunity to learn and practice gymnastics skills. We are a non-competitive club so members do not have to commit to a team or a rigorous practice schedule. We also welcome members of all skill levels, regardless if you have previous gymnastics experience or not.

We hold practices on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 PM during the school year at the Sunny Gymnasium in the Uchicago lab school. (Click here for directions.) Our facility has a set of still rings, a pommel horse, a tumble track, parallel bars, a high bar, uneven bars, a spring floor, balance beams, and a vault.

We are a non-competitive sport club and so all of our practices are open-gym style. One person usually leads stretching and a few drills to warm up for the first 30-45 minutes and then the rest of practice is open gym where members are free to work on whatever they wish.

Pricing is $20 per quarter for members who attend more than 4 practices; feel free to come to a few practices first and try it out to see how you like it. The money goes to cover some of the cost of renting the facility and paying for security to open the building for us.

We will be starting practices on Thursday, January 12th, for the Winter quarter.
